I have used some of these modules in the past. I am doing a 08 Malibu 2-way remote start. I purchased a ADS TB...by mistake. I wanted the ADS DL. The one I want to buy says in the description it is a ADS-DL (black)...what does this mean? Can I download the proper firmware for the 08 Malibu and do locks and bypass??? Thanks for you time!!!

ADS-TB = Transponder Bypass ONLY
ADS-DL = Door locks and immobilizer bypass
ADS-ALCA = Door locks and immobilizer bypass

That's the way I understand it.

Depending on your year/make/model you may be able to use the ADS-DL,however, the ADS-ALCA has greater year/make/model coverage. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
