am i crazy or did DEI get rid of 3x lock start when doing RSR with dball and dball2.
i usually use idatalink but i got a 2014 maxima in. i was like i order and call you on wenesday. it came in. went to flash. no option for 3x lock start anymore.
bad move on DEI's part.
NO wonder i stick with Idatalink......

end rant....

I saw that in the online mobile electronics magazine the other day.

Maybe go looking in their site at me-mag.com

Directed wasn't making enough money to justify this feature!

Honestly, I can see their point, but it's always hard to take things away from the public.

It's not just the fact that they got rid of the feature, but how they did it. A lot of dealers bought t-harness inventory, and directed pulls this move. Just another in a long list of bad decisions by Directed. Once I switched to Firstech and Idatalink, I never looked back.

you can still use the t harness just need a remote start to go along with it now.
If it wasn't for people that were doing installs for $100 and would actually try and upgrade customers with remotes or smart starts then maybe this will still be available.

Yes the t harness can still be used and directed will give credit to authorized dealers to trade product.
