Installing a Viper 5706V with Flashlogic FLCAN (ADS-AL(DL)-TL1-EN) on a 2009 Tundra. When I go to program the FLCAN for remote start I can't get it to flash green red and then go to solid green. Steps 1-4 seem to be fine as I can put the key in, turn to ignition, the unit changes from red to green back to red, remove key insert back but don't turn it to ignition but the unit doesn't seem to recognize the key, light just stays red.

I've hit the program button to bypass immobilization and can get the alarm to remote start with key in. All other functions (lock/unlock/brake/hood pin all function off FLCAN.

Wiring is as follows

From FLCAN to Truck or Alarm

BROWN / red (CANH) - Pin 6 of OBD2 purple wire
BROWN / yellow (CANL) - pin 14 of OBD2 white

Pink (ignition + input) - Ignition + inpute/output of alarm

GREEN/ red (code) Pin 4 of immobilizer light green
grey/red (txct) pin 5 of immobilizer blue

at first I had the wires reversed for the immobilizer but I don't think it hurt the FLCAN.

I'm at a loss but I'm sure it's a simple wire I'm missing, its like the unit isn't picking up the key sense

Try turning on the key the second time just like you did the first. The transponder bypass (TB) only firmware actually utilizes the keysense wire but the DL firmware doesn't from the looks of it.

I'm guessing you've done a factory reset and programmed the installation mode before going through the "module programming procedure"

Yes catback, I've tried to cycle the key the 2nd time as well but still nothing. I've reflashed and did a factory reset and still getting same issue.

I also saw where TB had the keysense but not the dl, I've considered hooking it up just to see but I doubt it will solve the issue

Hard to say.

Your tundra has a factory alarm with hood pin? Noticed the ORANGE / black wasn't listed in your connections.

I've tried it both ways as well.

I might try hooking up the keysense and the ORANGE / black wire refresh everything and try once again.

I'm a pet monkey...what's the old saying, check your wiring and check...check again? Seems I was counting wires and not pin holes so on a 7 pin plug with only 6 wires, I was one off and that's why it wasn't reading the 2nd step. Would have had everything done in hours not days had I paid more attention in 2nd grade. LOL
