hello guys. im installing a viper 5806v into a jeep wrangler 4.0. All i care about is the remote start.I hooked up the 12v constant, starter, ignition, access, parking lights, tach and brake wires.
Couple questions...
1-When i hit the remote start on the remote it beeps and does nothing. Paper says to hold the control center button after 5 seconds of starting the car and the light will turn on to learn the tach. The light will not turn on but it will flash when i hit the unlock and lock buttons.
2- Manual says i need to hook up pin 15 - door input and pin 18 + door input for manual cars. This jeep has one wire to the door. Where do i catch these wires? Will this have any affect on the remote start not working?
3-nuetral safety switch says it needs to be grounded for a auto and hooked up to parking brake for manual. My clutch is bypassed so can i just ground this wire?
4-Is there any wire that needs to be connected to the clutch wire? I see nothing on any of the pinouts for a manual.
If anyone has any input please feel free to type it below or even text me 9543286166.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

I checked for voltage to the starter both sides when hitting the r s button. I get nothing on either side. I do not have the neutral safety switch, doors, or trunk wires connected if That matters. I can not program the control center for the tach also. I must be missing something. Driving me insane...

Join the green H2 wire to ground.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
