I'm planning on installing a Compustar CM7200s in my father-in-law's '06 Dodge Dakota, however, I have a couple questions. First, some wiring diagrams show a key sense connection, some don't. Can anyone confirm whether it's needed or not?

My second question, isn't really a question. I'm just looking for a second set of eyes to go over my plan. My plan is to power the controller using the two red wires in the ignition harness. The controller will power Ign. 1, Ign. 2 and the (+)pink/white accessory wire via the on-board relays. I'll use an external relay to provide ground to the (-)purple accessory wire. Finally, I plan on powering the two pink / YELLOW accessory wires off the remaining RED / light blue remaining in the ignition harness. I plan on isolating them with two relays triggered off the pink/white accessory wire(or I could use two of the POCs).

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

As far as the keysense it will be needed if the truck has a factory alarm to keep it from going off while the truck is running. I usually power everything up just like the key does.
