2006 Subaru tribeca

Installed a bulldog RS83B

Starts great with the remote start

Now it will not start with just the key.

I'm really stumped??

Checked for blown fuse possibly

You could try unplugging the Red 2 Pin transponder loop from the RS82B brain and try to start with the key.  If it works like this, it would mean that the Bulldog was always outputting the transponder signal to the antenna and the car was seeing two keys at the same time and not happy.

I'll give that a try.

I currently get a fast crank and no start. I had this exact issue when I first installed the remote. Bulldog sent ma a transponder loop that goes around the ignition. Installed it and remote works perfectly.

But now the key doesn't work. Unfortunately I have her all buttoned up.

Practice makes perfect. posted_image posted_image

Do like kreg all ready suggested remove they loop on the bypass and try using the key. If the key works then it's you're bypass causing the issue. How do you have your bypass wired up ?
