Hey guys! I am back. I can say that I have successfully installed 3 remote starts thanks to you guys.
Well I am back and this time a buddy of mine want to do a remote start/keyles entry/(possibly alarm) in his 2008 F350 Diesel.
Never did a diesel before so I am wondering if there is anything I should know that is different.
If not.. there is a few things I am confused on.
Doorlocks/Windows
WIRE COLOR POLARITY LOCATION
Door Lock Circuit 3 WIRE NEG
Power Unlock YELLOW/VIOLET (-) DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANEL
WITHOUT KEYLESS ENTRY 5 WIRE REVERSE POLARITY
PowerLock BLUE/GREEN (-) DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANEL
WITHOUT KEYLESS ENTRY 5 WIRE REVERSE POLARITY
Driver Mtr Unlock VIOLET/GRAY (+) DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANEL
Driver Mtr Lock GRAY/BROWN (+) DRIVERS SIDE KICK PANEL
Pas Mtr Unlock BROWN / GREEN (+) UNDER PASSENGER SIDE DOOR SILL PLATE
So this is the wiring posted on the 12 volt.
The door locks confuses me. Yellow/violet for unlock.. I get that..
But lock? The truck does have keyless entry. Do I need to buy anything extra or run any relays for this.
Any information at all is helpful on this or anything else you guys think I should look into.
Thank!
Get a quality R/S w/keyless entry system that has a programmable ignition output that can support the trucks
Accessory2 wire, has a (+) Parking Light output and is diesel compatible.
Here is a link to ReadyRemote for another wire guide source :

Looks like your truck will have Type B door locks, so no additional relay required.
Power Lock blue/green (-) driver kick or SJB in passenger kick, gray 26 pin plug (C), pin 17
Power Unlock yellow/purple (-) driver kick or SJB in passenger kick, gray 26 pin plug (C), pin 4
Make sure you use the (+) Parking Light wire :
Parking Lights (+) PURPLE / white (+) SJB in passenger kick, gray 13 pin plug (E), pin 6
Bad things can happen if you use ( or even test improperly ) the (-) Parking Light wire.
Find out what the worst case diesel wait-to-start delay is on very cold days and program a fixed WTS delay that
is at least that long.

Soldering is fun!
