May need to interrupt dk. GREEN/ orange, pin 1 of the clutch switch during remote start to avoid check engine light.
use a relay
85 - ground when running or 2nd ignition output (-)
86 - constant 12v
cut the dark GREEN/ orange wire in half
87a - connect one of cut side to this (away from clutch)
30 - connect other side of cut wire to this (towards clutch switch)

Is up to the installer to test all wires with a DMM whenever possible.

Just did one and both luis and Ted are correct...without the relay it's going to throw codes ;). Follow the diagram and you'll be fine.

i am also installing a remote start on my 2014 wrangler. i am using a crimestopper rs4g5 remote start. on the module it self, there are connections for 12v,ignition, starter, accessory . all need to be connected to the vehicle. the part that is confusing me is the wiring diagram that i have seen for the jeep. It says that the accessory wire is the same as the starter wire . so does that mean i would connect both starter and accessory wire together ??
any help is appreciated
