I need help figuring out how to wire the pk06 (plxr 3 firmware) and 72 series starter. The bypass has been set to 3 and learned resistor correctly. I hooked up the ignition wire from both bypass and remote starter to the ignition wire. And all that i get is 7 flashes which mean tach lockout. I have reset the remote starter and tried everything i can think of. The door locks work and the tach wire was hooked up correctly. I am at a loss.

The Ultra Start will automatically learn the Tach signal the first time the truck is started with the key.    The sequence it looks
for a Tach signal is listed in the install guide.  If you have a newer version U1272, it will take at least 30 seconds after the
engine start-up to check the Tach wire and learn the Tach signal.

On older models, it must see the Blue Ignition1 wire go to +12 volts then the Yellow Starter wire go to +12 volts and drop
back to 0 volts before it knows to learn the Tach signal.  That presents a problem for your truck because it has no Starter
wire.  You can get around this by starting the truck with the key and then momentarily jumping +12V to the Yellow Starter
wire.   ( You will have to temporarily disconnect the Yellow Starter wire from the XK06 during this Tach Learn process.)

Anyway, if you have the older U1272 unit, do a Factory Reset on it and then the procedure listed above using a jumper to
get +12V to the Yellow Starter wire.  Watch the Parking Lights for the good confirmation signal.

The U1272 has a 3 pin connector on the side that supplies +12V, ground and GWR outputs for the bypass module.
The WHITE/ Violet wire from this plug connects to the XK06 Brown wire.

Thank you, i started the truck with the ignition and everything went well. One problem left. If you remote start the trick and then stop it, the radio stays on. Is there any way to stop this besides opening the door? Could i use one of the programable accessory wires to pulse or break the door pin connector?

use a rearm wire and connect this to the driver door pin.
