Thinking about adding power door lock to my wife's '09 Wrangler at some point in the future. I might go with a Spal kit, however, I was also thinking about just picking up three 5 wire door lock actuators and wiring up a couple relays like this. Anybody see a reason this diagram wouldn't work? FWIW, I couldn't find a diagram like this in the relays seciton.

Hi,
The lock and unlock signals are switches at the lock and unlock positions of the actuator. If they are to be interfaced to relays, they need to be converted to a momentary pulse. The diagram you show will force the actuator via the relay to a lock or unlock condition, eventually burning up the actuator. This could also jam the door latch and possible drain the battery. The Spal kits usually include an interface relay that does the pulse conversion.

Okay, I wasn't sure how that worked. So the actuators actually send a (-) latched signal to the controller, which then pulses the motors to lock or unlock respectively. I couldn't tell by looking at the Spal diagram. The instructions tell you to simply tie the alarm signal wires into the actuator signal wires. Thanks for the clarification on that!
