Hi guys,

I'll be installing a Prestige APS997E remote starter, excluding alarm, on my 2007 RX350. Just wanted to confirm my relay setup for the second starter wire.

The APS997E has a BLACK / YELLOW wire which provides ground during cranking. I believe I can use this to power the second starter wire on the RX.

86 - BLACK / YELLOW from R/S
85 - constant
30 - fused constant (20amp?)
87a - RX second starter
87 - unused

If this is correct, another question... Do I need to run the constant directly from the battery or can I tap into some wire under the dash.

Thanks :)

85 - BLACK / YELLOW from R/S
86 - constant fused with 15amp
87 - constant fused with 86
30 - RX350 second start wire.

you can use the same 12v source as the one you used for the main power to the brain.

Much appreciated, I guess this is the diagram.

What's the reason for fusing 86 if in theory there will only be minimal current going through it.

to protect the relay, and the start circuit in the even there is a short.
