Dear All,
After 28 hours of installing and checking my install, the Excalibur RS-360EDPB with Omega Blade Al2 won't start. I can lock/unlock the door, unlock the trunk. Please help!
This is for 2010 Lexus HS250h.
I flashed the firmware to DL-TL2 for Lexus with my Omega Blade, update RS-360EDPB to latest firmware and follow the diagram from Omega Web Link as follow:
Type 3 wiring diagram:
1. 2 constant 12V RED / RedWhite(+)from remote start to Pin 1(White) 12V on the ECU.
2. Ignition input/output (Pink) #1 from remote start to Pin 2 of ECU 40 pin connector
3. Starter (Violet).......No connection
4. Ignition output (pink/white) #2 ........no connection
5. Accessory Output (orange)........no connection
**Omega states "Do not connect any other acc, ignition, starter from remote starter to the car, the bypass will handle from PTS circuit."
From Omega 20 pin connectors:
1. Yellow RX and GREEN/ Red Rx to Pin 4 RX in the ECU
2. ORANGE / White TX to Pin 16 in the ECU
3. BROWN / Red CANHIGH to CANH pin 6 in the OBDII plug
4. BROWN / Yellow CANLOW to CANLOW pin 14 in the OBDII plug
5. ORANGE / Black Ground (-) to Ground without OEM Hood Switch.
6. Blue/Red Ground (-) to Ground
7. Blue / YELLOW PTS(-) output. No connection because don't need idle mode desired
From Excalibur 18 pin connector:
1. WHITE/ black parking light (-) to Pin 30 in the RX/TX ECU
2. Black ground (-) input to Ground
Remote start is clicking when I try to hit start from keyfob but the car won't turn on. I can lock/unlock doors, unlock trunk fine.
Please go over what I list and tell me what I missed. Do I need to install Hood switch? What about Ignition 2, Starter, Access? The diagram is not cleared about them.
Thanks in advance

close all doors and try to start. check to see if yhe unit has a neutral safety wire as well, if it does then ground it

Man, I can say you are my hero. Why I missed a little thing like that? As long as I connect the ground, the car starts. I don't know how happy I was when the thing works.
Thank you very much and Merry Xmas to you

I have another problem with 2010 Lexus HS250H Hybrid Push to Start
The car starts fine with remote start after I connect the black neutral safety ground cable. However, when I open the door, the engine won't shut down and I can't shift to gear. (No takeover with Lexus/Toyota)
What cable do I need to connect? I almost reach my goal. Please help
