Installed today, starts up fine remotely, except will remote start with the doors or trunk open. At first I had the door trigger wired to the dome sensor(-) , which I thought would work, but didn't.
So, for now I just hooked up the LF door(-) to the door trigger and trunk is connected to trunk trigger. I did verify ground on the wires with the LF door or trunk open.
I have the door trigger jumper on the 7200 set to minus.
Am I missing something?
Oh, and I haven't put in the hood switch yet.. tomorrow.
Everything else works fine.. door lock/unlock ( I may program double pulse)...brake pedal shutdown... anti-grind... evo-key bypass.
Thanks,
Jeff

whats the issue? The 7200 is a remote starter only, and can be programmed to be a passive alarm (option of adding shock sensor and siren)

Sorry.. it will remote start with the doors or truck open, I didn't think it was supposed to do that.
I haven't tried grounding the hood pin wire yet.

Yes, I apologize, not sure why I had it in my head that it wouldn't start with the doors open.
Just went out and tested the hood sense wire... it definitely won't start when that's grounded. :)
Thanks
