So I just finished an install for a 2005 Acura TSX w/ NAV

Viper 5806v
XK09 Bypass - 9.DLPKHO v1.12 firmware

The TSX has a factory alarm, but the xpresskit bypass controls it along with the aftermarket alarm. After letting the car sit for an hour the factory alarm started going off. The 2way key fob didnt notify me but disarming with the Viper remote stopped the alarm

Has anyone ran into this before

is the alarm going off randomly? if this happens under remote start only make sure the vehicle unlocks-starts-relock

Yeah it just went off completely randomly. Doesn't happen under remote start or anything.

Everything else seems fine.

I didn't mention this but it is wired up D2D

I've only seen this on the civic and accord. The factory hood pin goes bad and causes random alarm issues. What I would do is on the bypass, turn off the factory alarm rearm setting. You would simply rely on the viper alarm, rather than having both connected.

Thanks for getting back to me Ted. That would be a great solution, and this might be a dumb question but how can I program the bypass at all? I have an xkloader2, is it done with that?

Thanks!
