Ungo rk1. In a 02 Honda Accord ex v6.
When I try to remote start the vehicle it only cranks over. the remote start has never worked since I've had the car, only recently have I tried to get it working. however if the key is in the run position and I remote start it, it works fine.

Please help
Thanks

Here is a link to the install guide ( I think ) :

Perhaps if you list out your wire connections from the RK1 to the Accord, we might see the problem.

From your description, I looks like an ignition wire issue ( not connected, not working, wrong connection ) and possibly a
transponder bypass issue.  What bypass module did you use?

I took a look at the ignition and accessory connections and they looked good. However the ignition wire I tested with the dmm. Dropped well below 12v when I started it. Is this a possible immobilizer bypass problem? Or would it not crank at all.

All I can easily see without removing panels again and it's cold lol.

Sorry I didn't read the last sentence in your post. I'm not sure I didn't dig deep enough to see the bypass

Depending on the battery condition, it's not unusual for the voltage to dip below +12V while the Starter Motor cranks the engine, especially in very cold weather.

Is there a Green Key indicator lighting up on the instrument panel during a remote start attempt?  The bypass module is typically a separate, small black box that is connected to the vehicles immobilizer system.  It fools the vehicle into thinking a valid key/transponder chip is in the ignition switch.

Yes green key!

That indicates a transponder issue and prevents the engine from starting.  Need to do some more checking under the drivers dash and around the steering column.

I have a new xpresskit # PKALL I bought along with a new remote start. Should I just replace the transponder? Or what wires should I be looking for?

Here is a link to the PKALL install guide for the necessary wire connections :

I think I'm just going to attempt to install a new remote start myself. there's just a few things I'm not a hundred percent sure about Lake relays, do I need them? Also some of the wires confuse me like while running wire on the PKALL.

I'm pretty sure the ungo is going to get scrapped for an avital 4103lx. This will be my first install I just have some questions about a few wires. I want piece of mind in knowing it was done right.

Are the following wires even used in my application.
Main harness.
H1/2
H1/3
H1/5

4pin
2,3,4 guessing no?

Remote harness
H2/5 BLUE/WHITE (-) 200mA 2ND STATUS/REAR DEFOGGER Output?
