Does anyone on here know if there are good remote start systems available that are able to be programmed to auto start your vehicle if the temperature drops below or above a certain temperature?

I know there was an add-on unit by crimestopper, i believe it was the RS400, but from what I can find on the internet I believe its been discontinued.

Anyone have any suggestions?

bingo. however ake sure you add a temperature sensor FT-Temp, runs about 10 buck for this sensor. if you buy a 2way remote kit the temp sensor is included.

I have an older AstroStart 903u with a diesel control that has that function (programmable to start every 2.5 hours if the temp drops below one of several (installer) choseable temps) I haven't been able to find a program manual yet, but the owner's manual does reference is as an option that can be activated during installation. I purchased the starter in 2007 so it is conceivable that it is still available on more current units. Their website isn't very informative, but if you look at the available units and go to their owner's manual on the manufacturer's website
www.astrostart.com you can see if the option is still available.
