Good evening everyone.
Im starting this thread because i see that a few people have used the bypasses from directed DBALL2PRO for RS on the GTI. Now i know that they now have another version called the 4X10, and the 5X10. this is their newest. now the point of this thread is simple, i want to get feedback on the people who have run this, as i plan on doing a couple of these cars more than likely.
I used to do Remote starts and now do them on the side, however i use the Idatalink modules and the Flashlogic plug and play kits more often. i can get the modules for very cheap. and i like that i can also pair these with a range extending kits to customers. for the people who have used them on the GTI, have you had any issues at all? any problems or comments are welcome, please let me know your input. otherwise maybe the traditional way of doing them may be more effective.

the idatalink on VW works great. Not sure what RF kit you're using but you will need the Xl202 (directed) or FT-D100 (compustar) for the idatalink ads-alca
using a dball2, you still need the xl202

Do a fair number of these kinds of installs for various vehicles and keep idata and DBall on hand with respective REQUIRED harnesses...it was was really nice when u didn't need the harness for the 3 x lock feature...
At any rate they are without a doubt the wave of the future and the traditional remote starter install will be a thing of the past...might as well jump. On the band wagon now...;)

I'm trying to figure out how to have my shock sensor on the blue wire of the mux and my 508d on my green wire and have them both report to me as different zones....is this possible at all?
