I need help on how to hook up a DEI 515R siren to my existing alarm which is an alpine sec-100s. Car is a 90 Acura Integra. What kind of relay,ect., would I need. Thank Youposted_image

what is the siren output from the alarm?? what does the new siren call for??

The most of the alarm systems have a siren output + ,so you can hook you relay from there , or some times even you new siren . Actually I've a autopage alarm with one siren underneath the hood and another one inside the car , both are wiring on parallel and I didn't have problems .

Use a relay to power the second siren. The SIREN output of the Alpine system is limited in output amperage so becareful. You can either ground the DEI siren and use a relay to power the 12 volt or run 12 volts on the DEI siren and use a relay to ground the (-) of the siren, doesn't really matter.
