Has anyone put a remote start in one of this yet?

Looking at wire comparison in directwire it looks the same as a 2014 tundra

Was just wondering if the bypass for the 2014 would work.

idatalink or xpresskit don't show anything for the 2015 yet,

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

the ones that i have seen has a G key. Later this year I would suspect the changeover to H keys. Ask the customer to take a picture of the key

I have a 2015 Tundra Limited. It has a G key. I installed the factory remote start unit, but the instructions given were labeled 2014- so I would say the truck is the same as 2014.

Quote for the worst case scenario. Say they might loose a key.

This vehicle has 5 wires at the ignition, a SIL data connection, 2 can Hi/Low and immobilizer Data. Use the idatalink as the TL-5 works phenomenal on late model toyotas. If the idatalink doesn't handle the immobilizer, just disconnect that single wire and do a key wrap.

Should work though. since it's still G key, not to mention it looks like a carry-over from 2014.

As long as it's a G key, it's the same as the 14. I just did a viper and flcan combo in a 15 tundra. All the wiring matched up and the bypass programmed just fine. Worked great.

I agree with Tedmond.

I did a 2015, and the wiring was all identical to the 2014. I think I used a Flashlogic FLTB1 for the bypass.

As Tedmond said, either ask your customer for a picture of the ignition key, or ask him what letter is stamped on the blade.

I'll gamble that it'll continue to be a G key for the entire 2015 model year, but I could be entirely wrong and they could change over to the H key without notice.

By the way, this truck does not come with a valet key.

Also note that the styling has been refreshed inside and out, and the radio is different now.
