Do you need a relay to break the wire?

Yes..it starts the truck with the three x lock...from the OEM fob..that is all fine...Every guide I have looked at says light green grey in the white plug at the bcm...just not sure why it does not go to zero volts when I turn on the parking lights???

Are the parking lights working correctly through the switch? I somehow managed to bend a pin at the BCM while working on a '14 Impala the other day and it took me a good hour to figure out what I did. Not saying that's the case here but it might be worth checking out.

Looks like connector X5, pin 24 Blue, at BCM is a neg trigger for the park lights relay. I'd probably diode isolate the BCM from the RS.

Thanks for that link, Ween. Very helpful.
