Hey all,
Specs.
2007 Mazda Speed3
Viper 5204V
I installed the 5204 about 7 months ago and followed another mazda owners writeup exactly. I didn't have the time to hookup the remote start at the time so I left that unwired and just used the security system for now. About a week ago I decided to wire in the remote start portion of the brain. I used the PKFM bypass and again followed the same write-up. I couldn't get the remote start to work and got tired of tracing wires so I left it and headed to work. While on my break I was driving back to work and all of the sudden my mazda went into limp mode. I tried turning the ignition off and that didn't work the engine just kept running. on top of that for some reason my stock horn was blasting and it isn't even hooked up to the alarm in any way. This also caused my horn to die and I had to replace it. To kill the engine I finally ended up disconnecting the brain.
Following that whenever I plug the brain in, it tries to automatically start the car. The alarm won't respond to either of my remotes and no LED flash from the control center. Now, whenever I hook up the brain 6 pin harness while the main harness is plugged in the alarm causes my stock horn blow steady. Anyone seen this before or have any idea what the hell is going on?

What is going on.
Hard to say. What other Mazda owners write up did you follow?
Maybe try removing the system to see if your car acts normal.
Could list your wire connections to see if someone can spot a miswire.
Basically remove what you connected to see if the problem goes away.

I disconnected all the wires that weren't absolutely essential starting with the last thing I added which was the transponder. Still get the horn honk and the remote doesn't work. Won't even let me attempt to pair te remote. I can hear a relay in the brain click when I plug it in.

you will get a constant ground output on the horn, if you do not have a constant 12v input on the 6pin.
with a solid ground and no 12v, the starter relays could latch causing your ignition on. Check the fuse
