Hello, I am doing my homework on this before I get started & have a few questions on a few wires. I am installing remote start & keyless door lock only, no alarm.

Main, 9 pin connector:
Factory Alarm Disarm....N/A
Factory Alarm Rearm....N/A
Ignition Out (To Alarm)....N/A
Activation Input....N/A
Ground when locked/Anti-Grind Output....N/A
Horn Output....BLACK/ red wire (-)
Truck Release Output....N/A
Ground....Ground on ground point
(+/-) Light Flash Output....BLACK / YELLOW (+)

Door Lock, 3 pin connector:(do I connect straight into the wires or do I have to run thru a relay? If relay is used, can anyone point me to a "how to"? I believe this is a 5 wire reverse polarity)
(-) Unlock....pink/purple (reverse polarity)
not used
(+) Lock....ORANGE / purple

Remote start, 6 pin connector:
(+) (30A) High current 12V Input....pink/black or red(I plan to cut one of these first two wires short & splice into the other from the connector & run to either the red or pink/black)
(+) (30A) High current 12V Input....see above
Output to second Ignition/accessory circuit....BLACK/ white
Output to acc circuit....BLACK/ orange
output to starter circuit....dark blue / YELLOW
Output to primary ignition circuit....dark blue

Satellite harness, 4 pin connector:
N/A (please correct me if I am wrong)

Remote Start Harness, 5 pin connector:
(-) Neutral safety switch input....BLACK/ white (-) (what exactly does this do? I am curious.)
Tachometer input wire....gray/black
(-) brake shutdown input wire....WHITE/ tan
(-) hood pin switch shutdown wire....thru toggle switch to....hood pin

(-) 200mA 2nd Status/Rear Defogger....?

Where exactly should I mount the valet switch/button? Should it be hidden?

I should hide the toggle switch that I have inline to the hood pin, correct?
Where do I connect my door trigger wire from my vehicle?
Do I need to connect the "wait to start wire" from my vehicle? I understand this unit has a "programmable" delay time so I may not "need" the wait to start connection.

Thank you in advance! I am pretty excited that I am so close to knowing the answers to the few blocks in my way.

The door locks

(-) Neutral safety switch input....BLACK/ white (-) (what exactly does this do? I am curious.)
The alarm will not remote start unless this wire is grounded. mostly used during manual transmission setups.

Valet switch should be hidden but accessible. You might need to disable the alarm temporarily if the battery on the remotes dies.

Door trigger is a (-) on a yellow wire at the driver kick panel. Yellow plug.

Wait to start wire is ORANGE / Black at the BCM (-). Yes, the alarm can also be programmed to a timer.

Thank you for the response. I am not actually installing an alarm, just the remote start & keyless entry. I find your signature amusing!
