avital 4103 stopped working after 2 years. Both fobs still show a green light, and seem to have stopped working at the same time, although I think one was unlocking the doors occasionally after my wife alerted me to the problem.
Would the easiest solution to be to swap a unit from a new kit that can be had for $50 now? Would it work with the new fobs without further programming? Sounds like if I book it in with BestBuy I am going to pay through the teeth for a "new install". Can't I leave the majority of everything in place?

Just disconnect power from the unit for about 10 minutes, if it still doesn't work, try re-pairing the remotes.

You can also try unplugging the antenna for a few minutes then plug it back in. I've had a few do this and that fixed it
