Hey everyone,

I have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6 and I'm currently installing a Viper 3305v on it. So far so good, but I can't figure out the domelight supervision/door trigger wiring. Maybe I'm just overthinking this?

The domelight and door trigger are on the same wire which is a negative yellow wire.

A relay is required for the domelight, which makes sense, diagram here.

Do I simply hook everything up to the relay just like that picture, and then splice the Viper door trigger input wire further down the negative door trigger wire? Won't doing that mean that everytime I push lock/unlock, the alarm will think the door is opening and closing?

Thanks! and its fine I was just curious to find out what website you using. On the Autowatch system the domelight supervision only works on disarm the then domelight stays on for a few seconds,it doesn't send pulse on arm.I don't know anything about the Viper Systems,I'm sure Howie will get to your post anytime soon posted_image

Does the dome light come on when you unlock the doors before opening them.
Does it stay when you close the doors until you lock them?
If so your vehicle already has it and you don't need to make provision.
Otherwise just connect one BLACK/ white to ground other to green door trigger wire.

Ignore my last post, correction:-
Green alarm's door trigger to yellow, BCM 22 pin plug, pin 11.
BLACK/ white alarm's dome supervision to yellow BCM 8 pin plug, pin 3.
No relay required.

Thanks for the help, I'm actually not sure about the lights and unlocking/locking the the door. The factory fob doesn't work so I haven't been able to use the factory alarm, it's why I bought this Viper.

Just want to report back in, thanks Howie! Just went out and wired it up exactly like you said with no additional relay and all is working well! Tested it and everything! Thanks so much!

Ref your PM. If 1 relay works, stick with it.
Ref. trunk release tell me what happens if you meter both sides at the switch.

That blue wire should show 12v+ on trunk release. Use a 5 pin relay and a 1N4004 diode.
Cut wire and switch side to 87a, trunk side to 30.
Trunk release from alarm to 85
15 amp fused to 86 and 87.
Diode across 85 and 86, band side to 86.
