Hello everyone I am new to the forum this is my first post. I recently installed a compustar cm600 remote start along with an ads tb idatalink bypass in a 2006 Ford Taurus standard key 40bit v6. I used the key clone feature. I got it all hooked up everything works lock, unlock, etc. It will remote start fine but I notice during the remote start sequence the vehicles theft light on the dash blinks and the car shuts down and then keeps starting and shuting down. Does this mean that the bypass did disable the antitheft sytem on the vehicle. I did not hook up the keysense or disarm wires. Do I need to hook these wires up or will it not make a difference. Where do I go from here? I would appreciate any suggestions on this issue thank you.

A few thoughts...

1. Did you connect the CS600-s thick Blue selectable ignition wire ( CN1-5 ) the the Taurus's BLACK/ Light Green IGN2 wire and verify the
internal jumper was set to IGN2?
2. Are you running in Tach Mode with the CS600-s Yellow/Black wire connected to the vehicle?
3. Did you go with the D2D harness / connection between the ADS TB and the CS600-s or go W2W and make the hardwire connections?
    A.  If D2D, did you set the ADS TB's Installation Mode to Data and lock it in?
    B.  If W2W, did you set the ADS TB Installation Mode to Standard and lock it in?
4. Did you connect the ADS TB Pink Ignition input wire to the CS600-s thick Green wire ( CN1-7 ) ?
5. Did the ADS TB KLON programming go exactly as per the steps listed?
6. As a test, pull the ADS TB 4 pin power / Data harness, insert a working key into the ignition switch but leave it in the OFF position
and try a remote start.  Does it start OK and stay running?  If yes, the transponder bypass is the issue.
