hello, pretty new to installing and new to the forum (hope not breaking any rules so far). trying to do a viper remote start and done and all works well except that the daytime rights stay on until I open the drivers door. can someone please inform me on the proper way of making it to where when the motor shuts down via remote or times out the shut off on there own? or direct me to a link/thread if already explained. not wanting to duplicate and sorry if I did.
thank you

What year Tacoma? You can pulse the door trigger (probably need a relay) with the Fact alarm rearm wire, or hit the auto lamp wire, might need a relay (what year?)

2014.... Viper rs....no have heard that people use the GREEN / WHITE to the door trigger. If so, do you need a diode? If using a relay would you wire it like 85 gn/wh 86 12vt 87 ground 30 - trigger? Or if use auto light wire 85 gn/wh 86 12vt 87a 1 side wire 30 other side? Please correct me if wrong. Relays not my strongest now. Trying to get them down

If the wire needs to be opened, yep. You got em both right.

No you won't need a diode, it that's all you're connecting.
Some vehicles don't need a relay for door pin shutdown method, but Toyota does.
