2008 Ford Ranger and an Autostart

I'm very new to installing car starters. I've looked online for the answers to my questions but I'm having trouble with just a few things. As some background, my truck is an automatic and it has no alarm, electronic door locks, or windows. I'm trying to install an Autostart AS-2383TW-FM-V with an iDatalink ADS-TB module bypass. I am sorry for the ignorant sounding questions but the install guide is rubbish.

Can someone confirm that I need to use either the positive or negative door input wires from my 12 pin harness on either the dome light or on the door lock switch? I saw something online that stated this was only needed on a manual vehicle?

Do I need to connect the park brake input wire from my 12 pin harness? It's my understanding that this is only for manual vehicles.

The unlock and lock outputs from my 12 pin harness are only for electronic door locks (which I don't have)?

The tach jumper on my unit can be set to normal or high voltage. It seems to depend on the vehicle and the age. I'm just guessing that my vehicle puts out a normal output?

The jumper for starter 2, ignition 2, accessory 2, is just used if using some optional features. As I don't plan to use those features should I just leave the jumper as it is or can it be removed?

Hi,
No need for door input wires, used for manual transmission. Also the Autostart modules can be set up as basic alarms also, using those leads for yes, door input triggers.
Lock, Unlock, and Trunk are all negative outputs. Not used on your vehicle.
Tach setting can be left alone.
Jumper should be placed in Accessory 2 setting, connect Green at six position connector to Accessory 2 wire at ignition switch.

When you made mention of connecting the green wire from my 6 pin harness to the Acc 2 wire on my ignition switch, this is the 5th Relay wire you're referring to? I thought this was only connected if using an optional relay. In my initial thoughts I had planned to simply not use this wire at all. Would there be any harm in ignoring it?

Yes, the 5th relay wire. Might not be any harm in not connecting. When doing the install, a jumper wire from battery to 2nd accessory will power the circuits. See what operates. But it could also set a warning light on the dash if not connected.

The BROWN / yellow at the ignition switch powers the climate controls, transmission, abs, cruise control, reverse lamps....definitely connect this lead.
The PURPLE / green powers the radio, dash dimmer and wiper motor....probably not necessary, optional.

I believe I understand:

The Acc 2 wire sends power to radio, dash dimmer etc when the vehicle is running or when the vehicle is not running but the switch is set to accessory. It doesn't send power when I crank over. So if I connected the 5th Relay 30A output wire from my remote starter's harness to the Ranger's PURPLE / green Acc2 ignition switch wire, all I'd really be doing is bypassing the switch while cranking over, sending power to those Acc2 powered features, like the radio as an example?

That's why the 5th relay wire is optional in my case?
