I installed a 5706x alarm in my 2003 m/t Vibe GT, on Sunday. The only thing I left to do for later, was to wire the clutch bypass. Everything worked fine when I tested it. Armed, Disarmed, popped hatch, door sensors worked, putting the car in MTS mode worked fine and remote starting the car while my foot was on the clutch also worked fine, hitting the brake disengaged the remote start. As far as I was aware, it would be a perfectly working system had I not run out of time.
So, the system worked great up until I decided to do the clutch bypass yesterday after school:
Status output to 85
fused 12v to 86
one clutch wire to 87
the other clutch wire to 30
I tested the system and it started and seemed to work fine. THEN, when I pulled the car out of the garage, the instrument cluster fuse blew and as I searched for the fuse, the battery discharged. Having fixed that, I left the car run in MTS Mode and went to bed. Hoping to test the remote start in the morning
This morning, I try to remote start and the remote stops responding, the parking lights are lit but the car is not started. I get in and press the brake and the lights are still lit, I insert the key and the car cranks, but the battery is low. I jump it and it starts, but the key is in my pocket. I pump the brake and the car continues to run.
I resort to pulling the fuses from the alarm to turn the car off. I remove the clutch bypass wire relay and fuse. My car is still acting weird. The car tries to start the moment I press the clutch and the key is in the ignition position. confused I cut all of the connections I made last night and now all I hear is a relay (from one of the relay boxes) clicking really fast when I press in the clutch and the key is set to ignition (the starter no longer engages).
Did I fry the module somehow and now it's giving me all this bad feedback? I'm so baffled by this, I don't know where to even start looking.

First either recharge or get a new battery.
OK first does the output of the clutch go from NEG to POS?
Is this during ignition or only on cranking.
If yes to one here's your relay wiring. Use a 5 pin relay.
H2 Pink to 85
Ignition from where you joined the H1 pink to 86 and 87
Cut that clutch output wire, clutch side to 87a
Other side to 30
If the second
H2 Violet yellow to 85, the rest stay the same.
I THINK the clutch output wire is sitting on NEG, the fact that your 86 is constant keeps the relay on draining the battery.
------------- Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

Thanks for the advice. So I got home and tested the system to see where we are at. No more auto cranking when I press the clutch. However the parking lights were lit and the radio is on. So I removed all of the fuses to the alarm and the accessory wire is definitely activated, the parking lights also activate, and my factory alarm will not arm. So for now I've disconnected the fuses and the harnesses, except for the main power harness to retain the starter functionality.
I'm guessing either got a short/ground out of nowhere or somehow the module might be fried.
Anyway to bench test the unit?
