Good afternoon,I've tried all morning to hook up what I thought would be a very simple install.I'm trying to hook up an alpine 8026a to an aftermarket central doorlock system using only the lock and unlock features of the alpine.I have the diagrams for the alpine 8027a(thanks again Jeff-Velocity)which is almost identical to the 8026a and the central lock diagram.I'm putting this in a 92'Corolla.I have the central lock sys.installed and it works properly.The central lock diagram has 6 wires coming from the control module,blk(-),red12v+,grn,blue,brwn,white.Brown is (-)door unlock,white is (-)door lock.The doorlock diag.shows just t-tapping into the brwn and white wires from the (-)lock and unlock from the alarm.I've tried doing this with all the lock and unlock wires from the alpine.Nothing works.Also,I only hooked up the 12v constant and grnd wire from 8026a.No ign,dome lite,horn,led,starter or hood wires connected since I'm not gonna use those features.So if anyone can tell me which wires from the 8026a that I should connect to the brwn and white on the central loc sys,I'd really appreciate it.Also,there aren't any switches with the lock sys.Thnx alot,Doug

OK,no replies so far.Jeff(velocitymotorsport)if you happen to read this post.I found this info doing a search.Its a reply that you sent someone.See if you think this is how I should make my connections.BROWN / Blue-GREEN/ Blue to grnd.BROWN / Red-GREEN/ Red to constant (+)12v.WHITE/ Green to one side of actuator(or in my case,brown or white on lock system control module).WHITE/ Brown to other actuator(or brown or white wire on control module).Thnx in advance,Doug

This is cool,replying to myself on a forum.Jeff(velocity),or if anbody else wants to chime in,I used the connections above which you sent someone for an alpine 8141(I think).It does let me use the remote feature for locking and unlocking the doors.But now the central lock feature is disabled.I'm sure you know but I'll explain just in case,now when I push the drivers side lock down or use the key,it no longer locks or unlocks all 4 doors.Also,I decided to use the dome lite supervision,it works,but only when I lock the doors,not when I unlock them.I used the blue / YELLOW dome lite wire from the 8026a going to a relay and connected it with the neg door lite trigger diagram from your website.Can you possibly think of what I might have connected wrong or backwards?thanks in advance,Doug

Hey dude, sorry for the late reply but it's been very busy for me so I don't get to this forum as much as I want to. Any ways..... if you have a (-) door trigger system you have to do this: - GREEN/ RED ( n/o 87 ) & BROWN / RED ( n/o 87 )--------- GROUND
- WHITE/ BROWN ( Common 30 ) -----> LOCK wire
- WHITE/ GREEN ( Common 30 ) -----> UNLOCK wire
- GREEN/ BLUE & BROWN / BLUE are note used

Jeff,just curious,would too many grounds to one location cause the fuses to blow?How many is too many to one grounding point?Thnx again!

A central grounding configuration does not blow fuses. The resistance doesn't change if more devices are added to the grounding point on a star configuration.
