hello, i sucessfully installed this remote start into a 2000 chevy cavalier, however the range is extremely poor especially for being 1 mile range. I do not even know where to begin trouble shooting the problem, im thinking its the remotes or the SST antenna ? The remotes literally only work directly in front of the vehicle and pointed right at the antenna. Has anyone had this happen to them before? Ive installed hundreds of remote starts and havent seeen this issue before. I thought maybe it could be the ground but that wouldnt affect the range of the remotes. The car remote starts and the keyless entry works flawlessly if directly in front of the vehicle. Im stumped if any of you guys have encountered this issue please feel free to share your experiences. Thanks
edit : Replaced the batteries still only remote starts in front of the car LOL. What are the symptoms of a bad antenna?

Had some bad antennas from DEI....mostly on the Avitals....
