Hi all,
I've just installed a python 5206p remote start with DBALL2 D2D on a 2008 Silverado diesel Duramax.
Can someone guide me where I can find the Tach wire on the truck.
Currently I have it set as virtual tach but is very inconsistent.

Thank you in advance.

I forgot to mentioned that the truck is a 3500 HD.

Thanks.

Doesn't the DB-ALL2 w/GM6 supply a Tach signal?  ( It's shown in the diagram and application guide, but I'm not a DB-ALL2
user, so not sure if it's there on a diesel.)  You might try going W2W with the just the Tach signal to see if that works.

Here is a note from ReadyRemote :
On diesel models, use dk. blue/white at the camshaft position sensor, gray 3 pin plug, pin 1 or the Engine Control Module,
black 96 pin plug, pin 56. The camshaft position sensor is on the front of the engine, above the crank pulley. The Engine
Control Module is in the left front of the engine compartment, near the fan shroud.

Hi kreg,
I set it to tach mode via bitwriter and learn the tach signal, seems to be pretty consistent so far.

Thanks. posted_image
