I have a 2007 Impala with a DBALL 2 installed RSR that has functioned fine for a couple years. It just quit working although the lock functions are working. I checked the module and see that the dball 2 is sending the signal as well as a relay clicking as if to start the vehicle. All light flashes indidcate the dball 2 is working but the car will not start. I reflashed the module as well as flash and install a seperate dball2, same results. Is there something in the cars computer that could have shut down?

do you have any dash lights on in the vehicle? Doesn't that have diagnostics on it as well?

Yes I found there is a check engine light on. I have the Impala wired and flashed for RXT because it had a remote start already. The factory remote start disables itself if there is a check engine light . That code has to be cleared before it will work properly again.

Ok I have the check engine light reset and cleared. Currently the vehicle will start with the factory FOB and about 8 feet away. The dball2 will flash the correct sequence of the LED indicating it is trying to start. The car will not start still, any help please.
