Anyone here have experience with this van? I installed a viper 5706v, and everything is working great except the factory alarm does not disarm everyone once in a while. So when i go to open the door it sets it off, and i have to disarm it with the factory remote. Any thoughts?

Did you hook up the factory disarm wire? If not hook your unlock wire up to it and set it for double pulse unlock to unlock all doors or just leave it to single pulse if they want driver priority. Test for the factory disarm wire while turning the key in the drivers door should be negative trigger. Should be a yellow wire either at the BCM or drivers kick.

Or you can use the Factory Alarm Disarm Output off the brain to the disarm wire in the vehicle. Either way will work.

Lock and unlock wires go bcm lt blue and yellow arm and disarm wires. Unlock is set to double pulse. Happens only once every couple weeks or so. So frustrating. Using a idatalink al ca so everything is wired from the alarm. Bypass unit only does immobilizer. Dball2 had its own issue not locking or unlocking on first button press after being driven. Wish there was a way to deactivate the factory alarm all together.

I would try disconnecting the factory arm wire from the 5706 and just use the lock wire. Since you put an alarm on it there is no need to arm the factory alarm. Try that and see if the issue occurs again.
