Trying to help a friend. Her car nearly left her stranded due to a dead battery, she had it tested and it came back fine, battery replaced, battery died again. She replaced the key fob battery and now it doesnt unlock the doors. She had the alarm and bypass fuses pulled and the power drain appears to have stopped. I tried to power it all up to find the problem, but the LED on the bypass is "stuck" in programming mode. The viper is chirping and accepting the key fob signal, but doors will not lock/unlock. The install is a mess, but connections are soldered. Unit worked for years problem free. I have tried to unhook the battery and try to relearn the 457g but the LED stays solid red and doesnt flash when cycling the ignition to ON. Im lost?
