Hey all,
Ex-installer here, used to work for Tweeter. I have the know-how for car audio and remote starters, but don't have an actual login to activate smart start units.
The situation I find myself in: I DIY'd a Viper VSS000 smart start module with the add-on keyfob (VSM200). I was having issues with the smart start unit not communicating in two-way (no updates on live status, but the remote start and lock/unlock worked fine). After several back and forth emails with Directed tech support, they discovered that the 3000 was manufactured before they supported the two-way feature, so they told me to send them the VSM200 and they'd upgrade the firmware.
Instead of doing that, they sent me a new DSM300. I was psyched, until I realized that I needed to activate. Luckily, I was able to create a smart start login and activate it, and it worked, but I had purchased a 3 year activation for the 200. DEI was able to reimburse me for the old activation plan and I purchased a new one, and it worked, until they removed the old activation from the plan. Now I see the 300 when I log in and it says active, but I get nothing out of it. Is there anyone that can try re-activating it for me if i GIVE YOU THE id?
Thanks in advance.

DEI tech is the only one that will be able to help you with that. Once a system has been activated the installer can no longer access the account.
