Hi All! First post here but have been a lurker for quite a while and finally joined. Putting a Code Alarm 4054 remote starter in my son's 2003 Pontiac Sunfire along with a PLJX bypass module for the Passlock 2. Got a question on the wire from the Code Alarm box that says to connect to IGNITION #2 wire which this car apparently does NOT have.

Is it OK to just tie into the IGNITION #1 wire along with the other wire that is already added to that wire? Thanks for any help.

If you don't need the second ignition wire then Isolate the unused wire and don't connect it to anything.

Follow what Chev said. Just use the Ignition 1 wire from the Code Alarm 4054. Connect to the car's ignition wire (Pink in the ignition harness). Just tape the Code Alarm 4054 Ignition 2 wire--no need to use it.

So what is the 2nd Ignition wire on the 4054 used for then? It will still function without it?

The second ingition is used for different applications. It will function fine without it on your Sunfire
