Former installer. Never worked with the cellular based systems.

Both Drone and Viper apps have lousy reviews on the iTunes store.

In everyone's experience, which system works better when exclusively used to remote start from a cell phone? (Never will use the fob)

Goals: Remote start from iPhone + auto turn on for rear defroster when it's below 40 degrees.

When you installed them, how did you set up the rear defroster? Can it automatically turn on below a certain temp or did you have to turn it on using an aux channel?
