I have installed the 4103LX on my wifes 1997 Grand Am Se 4 cylinder. All wires connected where wiring diagrams have told me. The previous owner had passlock bypassed (im guessing resistor permanent method) as it takes plain cut keys. There hasnt been a single check engine or security light on the dash.

First thing i noticed is the instructions say let virtual tach try to start car 3 times. Virtual tach has never works since install. So I connected tach wire to the white wire on the ignition coil harness. After learning tach it starts. Than it wont start after first remote start. If i relearn tach, it starts once than not again. DE of course would not talk to me without a dealer ID number. Its 32 degrees and been getting down to 0 degrees but a remote start should work at low temperatures otherwise whats the use? When I check shutdown sequence on the remote start it gives me 3 blinks which indicates Low or No RPM (or low voltage if using virtual tach or voltage sense).

Any ideas? i can upload a video if that would help. door locks worked after relay, valet mode (leave car running without key) works.
