Hello all;
new to the forums, but decided to join as there seems to be a community of motor vehicle experts here and wanted to ask for some insight.

Info:
Vehicle: Honda Accord (1990)

Alarm System: Rattler 300

Issue: Removed the entire Rattler 300 system, jumped the battery, spliced the starter/ignition wires back together, but ignition does not start. Battery works as compartment lights and such turn on. Any suggestions on how to proceed with problem solving this issue? Thanks in advance!

Check For 12 volt constant at the ignition switch (White). If there is no voltage check for a blown fuse.

I drink current, eat ohms, and bleed voltage

That fuse will be in the engine bay fusebox, Honda proprietary marked "main" or similar.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

I'm not sure if it's anything like my old CRX was, but I had a fusible link with a hairline crack that was hard to notice. The alternator was producing over 16 volts and I could only read 10 something at the battery. It took me a while to find the problem.
