I have a '91 300ZX, and have installed a viper with the glass break, tilt, and shock sensors. The glassbreak has the y-connector for tapping in with the shock sensor, but my question is, why would I be getting false alarms? If the wires were supposed to be diode isolated, the installation instructions would say to do so, but they do not, when using the y-connector.

I want to change the 'optional sensors' to Glass break and tilt. Is this possible? And if this is possible, is a bitwriter needed?

I'm 99% certain the 'Viper' symbol blinking could be back feeding on the GWA wire, even though it is the only thing connected, besides the programmable voice. Even though the orange wires on each optional sensor port are seperate from the main harness GWA wire, are they tied together?
Thanks guys
