First off, thanks for looking and any advice is greatly appreciated...

I just had a Viper 5806 w/ remote start installed on a 2015 GMC Savana work van.

Van has power locks as well as Auto Bolt dead bolts installed on the two rear cargo doors.

The issue I have is this... If someone were to break the drivers door glass, reach in and hit the unlock button on the door, it will unlock both the door lock(s) and the dead bolt on both rear cargo doors completely defeating the purpose of both.

Did my installer wire this wrong?

Is there a better way to isolate the rear door from being unlocked while the alarm is armed?

If they break the glass and hit unlock it is going to still set off the alarm.
If you want the system to only unlock the rear doors when the system is disarmed, if I was doing the install it would be extra charges for sure as that is going to require a bit more work to have it done. I would guess the installer installed the products how must people would and has them connected to the door locks so that when you press the lock button on the door or remote the back doors lock.
I don't think he did anything wrong but maybe you would want to talk with the installation facility to see what it would cost to get them to only work with arm and disarm instead of lock and unlock.
