I installed an ULTRA START 80 series remote car starter in a 2002 Mazda 626. Once in a while It dosent start but the parking lights stay on. From a distance it appears to be running. Should the parking lights stay on? Is there a way to know the engine didnt start on a one way remote system?

How is it programmed ? I'm assuming engine checking of set to off ?
