After I failed to install my remote start I took it to RadioShack to finish it. They said everything worked as it should except for the lock and unlock. Left it at that. They said the brain was probably friend from something I did or it was a manufacture mistake. I contacted viper. They said they would fix it for $45 because it isn't under warranty. At this point I went back and looked at it myself. I managed to hook up the wires and the truck locks and unlocks perfect. So as I was driving I noticed that my doors kept trying to unlock at random intervals. No locking just unlocking. And quite a bit enough to annoy me. I thought my connection may have been a little loose to I went back in and redid it and made sure it was tight then drove it again and it happened again. However, when I gave up for the day, I turned the truck off, got out, locked it using the remote, waited to see if it would unlock and it didn't. Went back a couple hours later and still didn't. So it only happens when the truck is running. Any suggestions before I send it in and spend more money???
