I installed a Viper 4105V with the GMDLBP in my '03 Chevy Silverado. After troubleshooting a couple issues, I've still got a couple that I can't figure out.
1) Most of the time I can't lock the vehicle with the lock button on the remote. If I hold the lock button down the panic goes off so I know the button and receiver are working. If I double tap the unlock button on the remote, the vehicle with lock. Every once and awhile it will work but I can't track the steps that gets it to work and repeat them.
2) If I've locked the truck from the button on the door or with the key from the outside and then try to use the unlock button on the remote, the doors will unlock but then lock back ~3 seconds later.
3) The remote start function works but if I push the brake pedal without the key installed, the vehicle doesn't shutdown. I've got the brown wire connected to the white wire at the brake pedal.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts on troubleshooting....

Is the GMDLBP set to type 4? and locked in.
Are the connections soldered?
Violet wire should have been the last wire connected.
Are all the connectors in tight? No bent pins?
------------- When all else fails, Read the Instructions
