Hello all, I've just installed a Viper 4104 in a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. Not sure if I'm missing something obvious or what, but the only thing that is working is the panic feature. No light flash. No horn honk. No door lock/unlock. I can't even get an led flash on the control center. Any ideas? Please help!
Thanks

Perhaps if you listed your Viper to vehicle wire connections we could get a better idea of what is going on.

I unplugged the remote start harness, and now all the keyless entry functions work correctly including horn, lights, and locks.

Ok, thanks. I'll try that tonight. Why would I need a bypass module?
Thanks

Does your ignition key have a transponder chip?  Most do.  Look for a dot ( . ) or a G stamped on the top of the blade.  If you have a transponder chip, the engine won't be able to remote start.  You can test for a chip by wrapping the key head in several ( 4 or 5 ) layers of aluminum foil and the trying to start the truck.

Yes, I picked up a DBALL2 for the bypass. If I use this module, do I still need the relay for starter2? And, if so, why would relay pin 30 go to blk/wh?
Thanks

The DB-ALL2 bypass module only handles the transponder bypass function.  You will still need an external relay
to power the BLACK/ White Starter2 wire during a remote start.  According to my info, here are your ignition wires :
Ignition1 = BLACK/ Red
Ignition2 = Blue / YELLOW
Starter1 = GREEN/ Black
Starter2 = BLACK/ White
Accessory = WHITE/ Green

Pin 30 is the relay output wire that supplies +12V to the vehicles Starter2 wire.  More info on relays can be found here :

Did they flash the DB-ALL2 with the correct firmware for your truck?
