I have a viper 4105V one way system with the Xpresskit DBALL2 bypass module with Firmware level TL7 for a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with the G-key. When trying to program the module with the master key it gives me 4 red flashes. Those 4 red flashes mean "bypass data not detected" "check the bypass line connection, If more than one wire is used, make sure they are not inverted" What does this mean? What do I need to do?
Thank you,
Brian

I have seen 2015 base model Tacoma's without an immobilizer. But you say you have the right wires so that's odd. How are the connections made ? Solder crimp t-taps ?

Are you 100% sure it's a g key. Look at the key switch. Is it a plain metal switch? Does it have BLACK/ clear plastic around it? Disconnect the dball2 and try to remote start it.

I have a blinking security light, and the Key says G on it. The connections are T-taped. I even took the tap off and put the 2 HS can and SIL wires and stuck them into the OBD II connector holes. If I put the key in the ignition (not turned) and push the remote start button, the truck starts up and idles. posted_image

According to Xpresskit.com the Tacoma only needs wires HS can high and Can low, SIL, and Ignition 1 input when doing D2D which is what im doing. Without D2D and doing W2W requires those wires plus 12v, ground, and a GWR input. Can high is yellow/black, can low is blue/white, SIL is white(immobilizer wire), ignition is BLACK/ red.

Looks like you have everything wired correctly.  A few things to double/triple check :

1.  I would re-flash the DB-ALL2 with the TL7 firmware just be sure.
2.  Check the DB-ALL2 module and connectors for bent pins, pushed / backed out pins, etc.
3.  Ensure all DB-ALL2 connectors and fully seated and latched in place.
4.  I always solder every connection.  Those DATA type signals ( CAN & SIL ) are very sensitive and should be soldered.
5.  Double check that the DB-ALL2 connection to the IGN1 wire is good and getting the +12V signal when the key is ON.
6.  Double check the R/S system Chassis Ground wire.  It should be to a solid, rust and paint free, frame area.  I always
use a soldered on terminal ring on this wire.

Alright. I will recheck everything tonight. The only thing I can't do is reflash the module. I had a company do it. If my connections are good. Than I will assume it's the flash. Thank you

If you don't have the XKLoader2 USB cable to check or re-flash the DB-ALL2 module, you might try a module reset or Hard Reset.  If that doesn't work, try bringing the module to a local Best Buy Install shop ( with some doughnuts ) and ask them to check / re-flash the module.

Kreg357, you are awesome! I had all the connections correct. All I did was reset the module and the light turned green and it started up without key. So happy! Thanks man!
