I am installing a viper 3105v and have everything hooked up except for the dome light supervision and the door trigger. I am confused about how to hook them up properly. I have read tons of forums, watched you tube videos and yet everything I try fails. I have used relays for everything I have tried as well. I am not 100% sure how to hook up the dome light supervision wire or the door trigger wire. I currently have 2 1 amp diodes on my negative door trigger alarm wire, 1 for the drivers door trigger and one for the passenger door. After that I am lost. Could someone please explain the correct way to hook up these last two wires? I have a wiring diagram for my vehicle and it states the vehicle door triggers are negative and that the dome light supervision is positive. Responses are welcomed to help me out and are thanked in advance.

On the Base model, the door trigger wires are found at the BCM.  They are (-) triggers and need to be "combined"
for input to the Vipers (-) Door Trigger Input wire.  On your extended cab model, you only have to monitor the front
doors as the rear doors can't be opened without first opening the front doors.  The 1N4001 diodes band must be
towards the BCM.  The diode is used to prevent feed back to the truck ( driver door opened makes the truck see
both doors open without the diodes ).  Here are the connection points as per Bulldog Security :

BCM, LT BLUE PLUG, PINS B4 and A5.
The BCM is located under the Drivers Side of the dash, the BCM has 6 plugs on it, with the PURPLE plug on the back.
 

While not specifically stated, it's probable that the Drivers Door is Gray/Black and the Passenger Door is BLACK/ White.

You should use a Digital Multi Meter to locate and verify these wires.  Here is the DMM setup.  DMM set to 20V DC.
Red test lead to +12V constant.  Black test lead to suspect wire.  The DMM should go to +12V when the door is opened.

As for the Dome Light Supervision wire, there appears to be some conflicting info.  Here is the info from Bulldog :
DOMELIGHT SUPERVISION  GRAY/BLACK (-)  @ BCM, BLACK PLUG, PIN E

Here is the info from ReadyRemote :
Dome Supervision     gray/black (+)       BCM, black plug, pin E

While they each give the same wire color and location, one says it's (+) while the other says (-).  You will want to test the
wire with the DMM to determine the correct polarity.  Most likely it's (+).  You will have to use a 30/40 Amp SPDT relay
to make this connection.  Here is the relay wiring found on Page 7 of the 3105 Install guide, with updates for your truck
and a (+) Dome Light Supervision wire :

I believe I have tried it like this already, but I will try again once off work. I have confirmed that the dome light is a positive via tester. I currently have 2 1 amp diodes attached to the negative door trigger wire from the alarm, one of each going to the 2 corresponding truck door trigger wires and they are stripe end toward vehicle wires. I believe that is all that attaches to it, is that correct?

Thank you for your time to respond and will update a post after trying again later today. Hopefully this will resolve it.

Ok, this did not work. I tried it several times and no luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? ???

For domelight supervision use blue/wht at headlight switch or pin B9, Connector 4 at BCM. It is (-) trigger. No relay required, hook the Viper blk/wht directly to the blue/wht.

I am not familiar with the 3105, nor is there an install guide in the download section for me to look at. Some later Vipers have a "dome light polarity" wire. yel/wht, and sometimes another blk/wht or another black. IF the 3105 has this wire, connect it to chassis ground, or the supervision wire will not do anything.

Use the two door trigger wires with diodes (band towards door) for the Viper green wire (-) trigger input.

I appreciate the extra information about the dome light supervision. Unfortunately neither option is working for me. I used the optional channel 2 output with a relay on the domelight wire on the black plug pin E and it did turn the dome light on each time the accessory button was pushed. So it apparently is not the dome light on the vehicle side. I'm not sure what the actual output voltage should be on the alarms domelight supervision output, but I do get .59 volts for about 20 seconds when hooked to a volt meter and then zero voltage after the 20 seconds timed out. I tried hooking the alarm domelight output to a + output led light using the same relay and it would not turn it on either. Are there any suggestions for this?
