I just bought a 97 C3500 and I have a Viper 5704 that I would like to install in the truck. I can for the most part figure out the remote start end of it but the truck doesn't have door locks. The truck has shaved door handles and poppers but the guy that owned the truck before me removed the wiring for them. I would like to wire them up to my viper 5704. I looked around online and it says I need a diode but it doesn't tell me what kind. I was going to wire the drivers side to the unlock button and the pass side to the lock button. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction.
