hi there i need a help to wire just one wire from the bypass ads al ca to the remote start i need to know on the ads al ca there i have a black /white wire that goes to the 2nd start wire and the 1 start wire to the brake wire my question is can i put the black /white wire to the 1 start wire along with the brake wire? it is just to avoid to do a relay for a 2nd start I'm following the schematic number 3 on the ads al ca thanks
Those two wires, Starter1 and Starter2, must be kept separate. If your R/S unit can not supply two (+) Starter outputs, you must create one. Typically, most R/S units have a selectable ignition output wire that can be strapped or programmed as a Starter output. If that isn't possible, most R/S units have a (-) Starter output that you can use to control a relay for polarity conversion to the (+) the bypass module needs.
Starter1 going to the Brake pedal is used to fool the car into thinking someone is pressing the brake pedal ( to allow a remote start ). Starter2 is going to the Bypass module to let it know that the R/S is actually trying to crank the engine so the bypass module can output a (-) PTS signal and temporarily not pass on to the R/S unit the Brake signal it picked up from the CAN bus ( which would shutdown the R/S's remote start sequence ).

What has been said is correct, if the car requires 2 separate starter output, they need to be isolated. I've done quite a few of Mazda 3 PTS and I know that the BLACK/ white for the ADSALCA doesn't need to wired to the R/S since is passes through the data communication wire between the remote starter and the bypass. BUT, I've seen is some installation that it needed to connected (1 or 2 out of hundreds installed). What brand of remote starter are you installing?
