 Hello guys,
Can anybody enlighten me how to fix it? I put another different model Viper in my 2004 F250 Diesel without any problems!
Clutch is bypassed for testing purposes and will be wired through pin switches on the manual shifter.
All power is obtained separately from car wiring through aftermarket power block under dash wired in and fused straight from the battery.
Car starts and runs with car key. All Alarm features are working great. Remote Start is the only issue.
Programmed to manual mode described under tach wire. Car runs as it should after key is removed after manual initialization and shuts off once car is armed upon which error buzzes on the remote followed by 7 flashes!
Re-programmed to automatic mode by feature menu 3, item 1, option 2 and item 2, option 1 for virtual tach - no start and error buzzes on the remote and lights flashing 7 times.

Wired in as follows described between ###_____###:

 Primary harness (H1), 12-pin connector

Flip the on/off switch.. I have a feeling it's either not plug in, or set to the off position.

Did it. No difference. I also replaced a switch with another one, same thing. Tested continuity on both and they both checked out good.

 Update: Fixed!
I purchased a Bitwriter with 2.7 chip for $55 shipped on eBay. Powered it up and chip inside is actually 2.9! Score!
Went through all settings and they checked fine. Still, I zapped the brain back to default settings and retested. For some strange reason it worked like a charm. Starts in both Auto and Manual mode. My wiring was correct in the first place. Time to play with magnetic switches on a shifter for aditional safety.
Bitwriter opens a wealth of possibilities for me now. Like adding window and sunroof to timed Alarm Auxilary outputs.
